Bank of the Sierra said its Sierra Grant Program passed $5 million in donations to organizations in its communities.
The bank said the program started in 2004. It said the program delivered more than 1,900 grants since inception.
The bank reported $315,000 in donations during the second and third quarters of 2025.
It broke the April-to-September window into regional totals. $219,500 went to Central Valley organizations, $55,000 to Coastal and Southern California organizations, and $40,500 to groups serving both regions.
The bank also listed a higher running total on its program page. It showed 1,905 recipients and $5.2 million in funding.

Where the Money Went
The bank published recipient lists across multiple counties. It included Fresno, Kern, Kings, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura.
Recipients included schools, youth organizations, housing-related nonprofits, and community support programs.

Bank of the Sierra said this marks its 45th year, describing itself as the largest independent bank headquartered in the South San Joaquin Valley.
