Amex Wins Top Place in Customer Credit Card Satisfaction
For the fourth year in a row, American Express has ranked number one in customer satisfaction in a J.D. Power and Associates’ study of credit card companies. The J.D. Power study measured satisfaction in areas such as credit terms, billing process, interaction, rewards and problem resolution for customers.
Using a scale of 1,000 points, American Express beat Discover Card with a total of 769 points versus Discover’s 757. The aveerage score was 714, just a tad higher than in 2009. Over 8,5000 credit card customers took part in the survey.
American express, based in New York, has a major customer call center located in Greensboro and has announced plans to build a new $600 million data center in eastern Guilford County.
